SteelGate is looking for a talented QA Testing Engineer, Junior to join our team. The right person will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and validation processes. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, testing frameworks, testing automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, complete a Tier 3 investigation, and hold a Secret clearance. This position is Remote.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Build out automated tests, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and stress testing.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical course of study will only be given consideration
·         Minimum of a DoD Secret clearance is required

3 years of experience of hands-on application software testing such as: Rapid software testing, exploratory testing, system testing, production data verification, performance testing
Experience with Python, SQL, and defect tracking systems
Ability to understand and articulate complex business systems to help diagnose the underlying problems and solve them
Ability to work closely with development team and business users to identify and troubleshoot issues.
