SteelGate LLC is hiring full time Software Developer Applications to join our team in Korea. In this role you will support U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) by providing information technology/Cloud service management. SteelGate LLC. in partnership with Peraton is providing USSOCOM services for developing, documenting, structuring, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring delivery of USSOCOM's IT/Cloud service management processes, procedures and performance, including continuous improvement of all USSOCOM's IT/Cloud service areas. This includes support to USSOCOM in coordinating, integrating, and synchronizing the services from IT/Cloud service area providers. Individuals pursuing this position need an extensive background in all aspects of enterprise technology. A senior web portal and SharePoint lead architect working supporting the Department of Defense to support enterprise systems needs to have a combination of technical and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of web portal and SharePoint design, development, and deployment, including experience with SharePoint frameworks, customizations, and extensions and experience designing and developing web portals, including experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET. In addition to these skills, the individual should also have experience with IT service management practices and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and practices. Familiarity with government and industry security standards, such as NIST and FedRAMP, is also desirable for working in the Department of Defense.

Tasks include:

·         Create, deploy, package, and administer a new intranet portal site as well as a SharePoint site

·         Create pages using HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design

·         Build web components, lists/libraries, content kinds, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management

·         Use SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and PowerApps/Flow to create workflow forms

·         Will develop, operate, and maintain sites on various versions of SharePoint across multiple enclaves

·         Develop task specific services on Portal, to include trackers, ticket requests, schedulers, calendars, etc…

·         Will serve as a backup to the Command’s Knowledge Management team while providing guidance, administration, and training to incoming Knowledge Managers.

·         With minimum guidance provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis within multiple systems, software disciplines.  As well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.

·         Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.

·         Assists in the planning and conversion for new hardware/software products.

·         Maintains currency, debugs and configures related software products.

·         Provides operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning and hardware upgrades.

·         Works from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications.

·         Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs.

·         Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, setting standards and improving overall efficiency of the operating system.

·         Designs, codes, tests and implements tools for operations automation.

·         Works on most phases of software systems programming applications,

·         Develops software design documents and technology white papers.

·         Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams and for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.

·         Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.

·         Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree and 5 years relevant Software Development experience

·         Extensive knowledge of SharePoint architecture and configuration, as well as extensive experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C#, REST API, PowerShell, HTML/CSS, SharePoint Designer, and Office 365 Integration.

·         Strong skills in the following: IIS 7+ management and configuration, Windows Server administration, Analyzing IIS, ULS logs, and Event Viewer logs.

·         Experience in the following technologies is plus: SQL Server 2016-2022, Office Online Server, SharePoint Workflow Manager, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, Network/Service Load Balancing Technologies

·         Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliance: Security + with CE (SharePoint MCSE OR, MCSE: Productivity OR, MCSD: Web Apps OR, Microsoft Certified Expert OR, AWS Solutions Architect Associate OR, AWS Sys Ops Associate

·         Must possess and maintain TS clearance.

·         Master’s with 3 years of experience; or specialized training and 4-8 years-experience; or equivalent academic experience
